It is fine and normal to punish Putin and his gang for all the Things they are doing and not doing. Of course! And let's do it, so that he and all around him really can feel it! It seems to have its effect internally in the Kremlin already.
But much more important is to help the Ukrainians. Not with weapons etc. - but with practical help of all sorts. What do we do to help them do real nation-building in their country? To help their young people to study here? To assist their civil society organisations to make a real difference in their society? To devolop their tourism industry in a good and sustainable way? Etc. etc. This is very important elements in what we in the EU call soft power - which we say we are very good at. let's show it. NOW !
